Mystikal -- "Bouncin' Back (Bumpin' Me Against The Wall)"

Mystikal comes on like the funky salve sent from outer space to heal a nation's fractured psyche, but otherwise "Bouncin' Back" revels in the joys of the familiar. The Neptunes' 71-into-01 horn-draped arrangement is only half the fun to be had here; everywhere else is Mystikal grunting, growling and hollering for redemption as if every archetype of the blues that ever existed was mixed in a blender to create a particularly tasty pop-puree. Give the man a show on prime time already.
